Over the Edge Hurricane

Average Rating:    (5 of 5)

A great shop on the way out of Hurricane (76E 100S) right at the base of the hill on the way up to Gooseberry, Little Creek, JEM, etc. All kinds of great high end bikes, parts and of course pre-ride coffee and espresso. Quentin, DJ, and Eddie the shop dog will go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you out with whatever you may need, good people all the way. A must-do stop on the way to the trails.

Shop Summary:
Everything you need for the area for mountain biking. Close proximity to Gooseberry Mesa and rents bikes.

Customer Service:
Exceptional customer service and extremely knowledgeable about local trails. Offered suggestions on direction and routing that significantly improved the quality of my ride.

Other Comments:
Had another shop rent me a poor demo. Save yourself the trouble, just rent here. They are close to THE best riding in Southern Utah, have a huge selection of demo bikes, know the rides and share the information with the people who rent from them.

Shop Summary:
Well equipped shop with some high end equipment and knowledgeable staff for a small town.

Customer Service:
We rented 5 bikes from Quentin and his team for our first time visit to Gooseberry Mesa. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bikes were all excellent and set up for riding Gooseberry and fit perfectly. Shop location ideal and overall great experience and will be going back next year with a larger group.

Shop Summary:
This shop has a great selection of parts and bikes, but more importantly it's got ambiance, great advice, good maps, and an owner that knows his stuff. Throw in the fact that they brew great coffee here and you have a killer combination for a shop just a few miles from Gooseberry Mesa and some other epic trails. For those who need to rent a bike they have some of the best rentals I have ever seen in any store.

Customer Service:
I stopped in on my way to Gooseberry and I asked if he would fill my tubeless tires with a new batch of Stan's. A few minutes later both bikes were on the rack being completed while I was enjoying a freshly brewed latte. The owner turned me on to some really detailed maps of the area. He also gave me some great trail advice. I love this shop.

Other Comments:
The owner is very upbeat and knows his bikes and the area. This shop is a must-stop if you are on your way to Gooseberry or JEM.

I had to call to find the store - it's on Rte 59 as you head up to Gooseberry. Look for all the bikes on the porch.

Awesome shop.

Shop Summary:
Great shop, great location, great people, great atmosphere, these guys are doing it right. This new shop has the perfect vibe, the type of place you can go to kill some time and hang out on a rainy day or just drop in for some pre-ride necessities (tubes, espresso, etc.)

Customer Service:
You can tell they really want to do everything they can to make the most of your cycling experience. While I only made a couple small purchases during my stops, I witnessed them go out of their way to do everything from calling a manufacturer on the spot with a question a customer had to just talking with some local neighborhood kids that were hanging out on the patio. You can tell they genuinely care about the people that stop in. Definitely one of those shops that you will feel good about supporting, it will be a must stop on my future trips down there.
