Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Nice shop, decent web site. One of the first to specialize in 29ers. They are a laid back bunch which is great, low pressure and advice when you need it but in the same respect after the sale when I've have questions or need small parts they're not in much of a rush and didn't go out of their way. Tried to keep my $$ somewhat local and opted out of buying the frame at bikeman.com but in hindsight I should of just bought it online since there was no added benefit staying local. Minor annoyance- when I picked up my special order frame it was unpacked and on the wall for display so I had to ask for a box so the frame wouldn't be loose in the trunk of my car Customer Service: Customer service during/after the sale was good-poor They seemed disinterested, after the sale especially. Too many other sites competing with bike29.com that are more hungry for your business.
Other Comments: As with any shop if you can't work on bikes yourself or don't know what you want then going to a shop like this is the way to go, these guys are some of the best in steering you in the right direction and fixing your bike. Their 29er selection is awesome. If you know what you need there are other companies out there which seem more psyched to have your business. Prices are nothing special.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I recently purchased a cx frame from the shop via one of their web sites, bikecx.com. George the shop owner was more than gracious. We spoke several times about the purchase and he gave some great advice on how to set up the bike. His customer service was great. If you are looking to purchase a 29er or a cx bike, I would definitely give them a call as I believe George is willing to work with you on a great price. Customer Service: First rate all around.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary:
Whoa, drove up to Waterbury, VT for the Vermont MTB Festival 2 weeks ago and the long yearning for a RIP Niner was more than I could resist. Didn't want to miss the party at Waterbury Wings Saturday night but needed that ride. No problem, George, Joe & Shaun swapped out the parts/pieces off my hard tail Niner onto the RIP in about an hour. I was quite surprised at the efficiency of the whole process. Next day (Sunday) I'm on the new bike and smiling the whole ride. Thanks guys! Customer Service: How could it get any better?

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Good lookin shop with lots of stuff for 29er fans! I drove down to the shop to pick up a niner cog and was really impressed by the shop and it's owner! Great service and good prices.
With Niner bikes, Gary Fisher and even Intense, what else can you ask for! Oh and did i mention Surly and Salsa?

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Great customer service and really honest advice. I wasn't sure about which 29'er to go with but George is very knowledgable and has quite an extensive background in the bike industry.
Described my likes and dislikes about my current and former bikes and he made a few suggestions that pointed me in the right direction.
Thanks George! Customer Service: You can tell its a priority with them. Prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
