Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Small shop in downtown Fredericksburg with a small inventory of bikes Customer Service: At first, willing to help. But they become arrogant and standoff-ish, unwilling to work with beginners who don't know everything they know. They lost this customer. I bought my new bike at Old Towne. Will never step foot in the store again. Last time I went, they just came off as being very rude. Rolled eyes when I walked in the door. Gee, sorry I spent money in your store. Won't do it again. Other Comments: I would go to far superior stores that offer MUCH BETTER service. Both stores in the area, Revolution and Old Towne provide much better service. Old Towne services and replaces anything with your bike for an entire year, which is great.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: A Gary Fisher, Raleigh, Bianchi, dealer. They are handicapped with limited space like every shop in downtown Fredericksburg. Stock Michelin tires, shimano shoes, etc. Nice Painting on the side of the shop. Customer Service: Very friendly people.
Good with repairs, etc. Other Comments: I don't know too much about this place, i have been in there twice and it has a comfy feel to it. I haven't bought a bike from there but have gotten my bike a tune up there. No problems with it yet other than typical cable stretching.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Small shop with young staff Customer Service: What customer service? I bought my bike in August 2006 and have just had my Manitou front shock go. I Rang Bike Works, who didn't want to know and said that it was down to me to sort out and that i had to contact Manitou direct. Manitou says, "You need to have the shop contact us for an RA# to send the forks in to
be repaired. Unfortunately we do NOT deal consumer direct". Fortunately for me, Revolution Cycles in Stafford have been fantastic, they spoke with Manitou, have sorted the problem out and will take care of me from now on.
Other Comments: All my future business will be with Revolution Cycles in Stafford and i will recommend to all my friends that they do the same. When your expensive bike goes wrong and is still under warrenty, you would expect the shop you bought it from to do their part. Clearly not with Bike Works.
