Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Large shop. Great selection of road bikes. Some MTB bikes. Conveniently located off of W&OD Trail. Customer Service: Usually pretty helpful but they can be moody. Some are very bike smart. Other Comments: My favorite shop in town. I tries Conte, Spokes, Bike Lane, several Performance, Revolution, and some others. This shop is the best of those.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I recently bought my second bike at Spokes Etc in Vienna, Va. The staff is courteous and not knowledgable. They have a good selection of bikes and accessories.
Other Comments: The bike I bought a couple of weeks ago went on sale today, and they gave me a refund for the difference without giving me a hard time. Actually, the staff was very nice and helpfull. I would recomend anyone buying a bike to get one here.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Large, clean, good selection of road, mountain and "other" bikes. Customer Service: Floor staff very friendly, straightforward and willing to help. Very little "attitude" here. Service staff needs to listen to its customers a little more closely. Other Comments: They failed to cut the rear derailleur cable housing to the correct length after overhauling my drivetrain. 1st ride out two days before a trip to Colorado, I broke the chain trying to get the darn thing to stop skipping and grinding. Mech fixed the chain, warned me about shifting under load (duh!). In Colorado, I discovered the hard way he hadn't addressed the underlying problem at all. Took it back and they fixed it, but acted like I was being a dick and wasting their time. Because of this, I'm reluctant to take my bike there again, though I'll still shop there.
