Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Agee's Bicycle Shop
Midlothian, VA
794.6754
www.ageebike.com Customer Service: In late 2008 I purchased a Schwinn Town and Country from Agee's Bicycle in Midlothian Virginia. It worked admirably but sadly suffered a bent wheel through our own error.
We began to try and get a new wheel around March 2009. Agee's, the distributor, told us that they could not order the part as it was unavailable. We called Schwinn national who gave us the part number. Under duress the distributor ordered it for us in July, for an August delivery.
In December, our prepaid part arrived, and was sold to someone else without notice or explanation. This distributorship has performed terribly poorly and seems to have no angst about it. They recommended a product which we bought, then almost immediately spoke disparagingly of the product and refused to service it. Buyer beware.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I online shopped for a bike rack. Customer Service: I made a phone order and the service was good. I had problem that was resolved and the service was good. Other Comments: I purchased a Thule T2. Arrived here in to CA in 5 days. I opened the package everything seemed okay then I found that the rear tire straps were missing and the plastic package that kept the nuts and bolts was already torn open. I was pissed but there was nothing for me to do. I called the next morning to get thing straightened out. After talking to two people, they were a little defiant in giving me straps but ended up sending me a pair which I received today.
I'd just like to say, I wouldn't hassle a shop for straps if they came with the box. I far to much stress in my life to create more. I just want what I pay for.
Thanks to Agee's for making a customer happy. I believe the guy's name is Jay.
Just a 4 because it should of been right the first time but it might of been out of their hands.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I go to all the shops up and down broad street and have found Agee's to always be my favorite. Tons of product in the shop, knowledgeable about current trends, know their stuff about local trails, and somehow seem to be priced lower than the chain store up the street. Customer Service: Always helpful! I recommend them to everyone

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Tons of stuff in this store (their West Broad St. location). We've got the "P" shop here in town, and you'd think that the national company would have more, but that's not the case. I'd had trouble finding a pair of shoes that I liked for a price that fit my budget. Plenty of shops offered to special order what I wanted, but at additional expense and I wasn't willing to take chances regarding fit. Agee's had what I needed and at a great price. Customer Service: Very good. On the visit described above, they were kind of busy (Tuesday afternoon, go figure), but I was greeted when I came in and I got a chance to browse around some before I was helped. Salesperson seemed knowledgeable. We chatted about our respective rides and favorite local spots and I ended up test riding a Specialized Epic. Maybe I'll get the chance to review that soon. Other Comments: 'nuff said.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Agees Bicycle on West Broad st. Richmond Va. Customer Service: Definately a sales only oriented store. They are there to make the sale! Good luck after that. They also Tried to charge me extra to order a bike that they said they didn't cary. Only a few days later they had that bike in stock. Had I bought that bike I would have payed more then everyone else. Other Comments: Go to Performance down the road. They have much better prices and don't want to charge you out the ass to order something for you.
