Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Half decent selection, though very road, family, and XC oriented. Customer Service: Ran into some problems here, the one time I took my bike in for some work.
Difficulties were encountered, ended up aborting most of the work that was being done, then had the ownership of several of the parts on my bike challenged by the wrench. Overall, between the condescension I got over the phone, and the implications offered in the shop, this was my first and last time taking my bike here.
Too many other options in town, I'll go for one marginally less close to home in the future. Other Comments: The silver lining is that they noticed some cracks in my rear triangle.
Other than that, a poor experience.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Shop seem to cater to the middle-aged spandex crowd; if you enjoy towing your kids around in those baby trailers on your bike, you might like this place. Customer Service: Of the 5 or so bike shops in town, I really disliked shopping at Fairhaven and Jack's. After wandering around the store for 10 minutes looking for a sales person, I asked for a test ride; the guy didn't bother to set up the air shocks and clearly wasn't interested in answering my questions.
Other Comments: It's the only show in town as far as Specialized goes.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Very helpful staff. From when I walked in they had great service. They knew I wasn't going to buy a bike that day and yet still were there to help me with my questions and also offered to let me still ride the trials and test the bikes. They also match prices. All bike shops in Bellingham are great though.
