Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: THE place to go for everything in the Leavenworth to Wenatchee area. Everybody who works there is a mountain bike junkie. If somethings broken they can fix it. If it's a part you need they always seem to have the right replacement. Customer Service: These guys have always done everything they can to help my wife and I. They have gone way beyond the level of customer service I've received from any business, anywhere, ever. Often, the charges are so minimal we can tip the mechanic. The owner has great people skills and makes you feel like your business and riding enjoyment is important to him. I've often admired how he and his employees treat customers, especially when the shop is packed with people itching to get out riding. Other Comments: I'm also very impressed with the enormous amount and variety of community service they do, from sponsoring events to leading rides and trail building and trail repair. Definitely a huge asset to the area. The only negatives I've found are, they are closed during ski season and don't carry many new XC/All Mtn bikes. Fortunately, I live near enough to Bellingham to fill in those gaps.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Excellent prices, good selection of parts, good selection of helmets and clothing, very limited selection of bikes. The shop seems mostly oriented at a DH client el, local service, quick tune up for weekend visitors and rentals. Customer Service: Poor. Owner definitely has attitude. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I suspect the term "locals rule" is in effect. The only trail beta we were able to get came after a lot of prodding and multiple attempts to sell us a annual trail pass. This is opposed to another bike shop in town which has some ready made hand outs showing local routes.
The Bike we rented was not well maintained and in need of brake adjustment. It was an ordeal to get them to correct.
Even asking to use the bathroom was an ordeal. That petty!
Finally, his staff seemed pretty nice and pretty helpful, so have to give some points there.
