Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
uBRDO Cycle and Mountain Supply
Small bike and outdoor shop in the heart of downtown Kirkland.
We've been asked a lot lately about who our niche market is and it's a tricky question. We know we can't be everything to everybody (there are enough shops failing at that already), but let's face it, we want to serve a pretty diverse group of people; people like us. We are cyclists, but this isn't just another bike shop. We ride on the road and on the dirt, we run, we climb and hike and paddle and ski (and trying not to think about paragliding!)... heck if we get to be outside we'll do it!
We strongly believe in human powered pursuits. We believe that you can do anything you set your mind too. We believe in challenging ourselves wether it's pushing the limits of endurance over several hours in a local race or bigger projects like cycling the Western Hemisphere, paddling across the Northern tier of Canada, or circumnavigating the pacific states by foot and pedal (all things on our list!).. We hold firmly to the mantra: "Get Yourself There".
Shop Summary: Excellent shop, superior service, with products they're proud to both use and sell. Good people, involved in the community. Top notch experience.
Customer Service: Again, top notch. Took my original ride out of storage to have it tuned up as my daily beater. Scottie and James replaced the sprockets/chain/tires/tubes and tuned my 1995-vintage Trek 8000 to perfection... and because it took three weeks for RaceFace to ship them the parts they discounted my build by 10 percent! An unexpected treat for such great work.
Other Comments: Got to ride my old 8000 before it was stolen off of my doorstep five days later. A sad end for my excellent old hardtail. The good news? Their hand-picked selection of frames and components, plus the overall excellence of their approach means I'll be in next week to spec out my new ride! Now, the biggest challenge in my life is whether to go with Yeti or Intense. A high quality problem if there ever was one.
Thank you uBRDO for keeping my rides, and my smile, in top shape.
