Our mission is to get kids and adults off low quality or worn out bikes that are unsafe to ride. A quality bike is not only safe, but more enjoyable to ride and will retain its value longer. Local specialty bike shops can offer a greater selection and expertise.

Shop Summary:
Camas Bike and Sport is everything one wants to see in a small town LBS on the edge of a biking-friendly urban area. The shop carries an excellent range and quantity of road and offroad bikes and gear and is continually expanding brands and offerings. The greeting is always friendly and the attention is always personal, complete and professional. Ed and his staff really know biking and are sincerely concerned about getting riders on good quality equipment that will provide years of safe and enjoyable riding. The product lines are some of the best you will find. CBS staff and many clients are strong proponents for biking in our region, staying involved in the processes that improve both the road and offroad experiences. It is not uncommon to receive an email announcement about an advocacy meeting or trail workday. These guys and ladies role their sleeve up to help get the work done. They also love to ride with their clients and provide a great service in connecting riders of various abilities for those epic weekend adventures. They'll even make a quick midday jaunt over to nearby Lacamas Park now and then--just stop by around noon if you have some time and your bike is handy. While I purchased a bike of a different brand than what CBS offers, I have always been treated like a top customer and will be a client for a long time.

Customer Service:
As mentioned, the staff knows biking, knows the equipment they sell and repair, and how to provide professional service with a small town feel to our biking community. The mechanics are competent and proficient at getting you safely back on your ride with a good supply of replacement and upgrade parts. What they don't have, they can usually get quite quickly. I have total confidence in the service and upgrade work they have provided for me, putting it to the test with 100s of miles, some serious descents, and over dozens of rides. The biking community of SW Washington and the Portland Metro area cannot go wrong with making this shop their own. It's worth the trip out to Camas.

Shop Summary:
Living in the suburbs of one of America's best biking cities, Portland, Oregon, we're used to having to commute for quality bike selection and service. Thank goodness we've now got a "neighborhood" shop in Camas, Wash., literally a minute's ride from sweet singletrack riding in Camas' Lacamas Park. Owner Ed Fischer and his staff know mountain bikes inside and out, because they ride nearly every day.

Customer Service:
The staff has great enthusiasm for bikes, and doesn't hesitate to take the time to understand why I'm in the shop in the first place. I went in for a cable lock for my daughter to use when she rides to and from school. The selection was impressive -- everything from affordable cables and locks for the appearance of security, all the way up to locks so solid, their makers guarantee to replace your bike if it gets snatched while secured with their product. We ended up with something in the middle, and have been completely satisfied.
