Shop Summary:
This is a chain store with an internet presence that's fairly well affiliated with its brick and mortar stores. I still find that sometimes the store has better prices than the web and sometimes the web has better prices, so it pays to research online to make sure you get the best price at checkout. They've always been polite to me when price matching.

Customer Service:
I've had great customer service in the store. Some examples:
1) I bought my son a bike and when I got it home I noticed the front rotor rubbed. I thought I'd fix it myself but realized the rotor was bent. I did my best to straighten it out. I mentioned it to the shop and they said to bring it in and they swapped out the rotor free of charge.
2) I ordered my GT Zaskar Pro 9r in XL and it came with 170mm crank arms. I thought it should have 175's. They just swapped them out, no questions asked.
3) When I bought my son's bike, I mentioned to a guy that was there that I thought it was a sweet deal (during their 20% off sale). I ran into him a few days later and it turns out he bought 3 of them. They swapped in a 34T rear gear for the 32T, and changed the stem all free of charge.

Other Comments:
I've also used the ship to store option. I agree it's a little slow, but otherwise I had a good experience. They send email when the order is processed, again when it's shipped, and again when it's ready for pick-up. When I went to pick it up, it was all there and ready to go. Also, the slowness was on the processing side, the time between shipping and ready for pick-up was quite reasonable.

Shop Summary:
Good shop with fairly good selection

Customer Service:
Good - I called in and they answered the question quickly.

Other Comments:
I purchased my 6-year-old's bike here. Unlike most 20" bikes, this one was actually assembled well. Derailleur was aligned, brakes were set down far enough (for small hands) - brake levers weren't over-tight (could still moved in case of crash), everything tightened correctly and straight. All the little things were done well. I was impressed, especially considering this was a $200 bike.

I know this is a chain - but at least they're a chain of bike shops.

Shop Summary:
They are chain stores with online shopping which I like. Most of local shop wouldn't have online order capability, but this one has. The online price is good and it can be shipped to store so I don't have to wait at home to sign the shipment.

Customer Service:
It was a terrible experience. I ordered a bike online and shipped to store. There is no online tracking for order been shipped to store. I call the internet order customer service for tracking. It was OK. I had the tracking number and I tracked it delivered on Friday morning. I called them in the afternoon and try to find out when I can pick it up. I talked to a guy seems had no clue of internet order. He asked me to hold and put me on hold. After 15 minutes on hold, they just hung up the phone without saying a word. I called them again and told them they just hung up my phone. Guess what, the guy yelled at me and said, they were very busy and didn’t have time to talk to me; if I didn't ask my question quick, he would hang up. I’d never been yelled at in any retailer before in US. I am from a country used to have very poor customer service. This guy reminded me what happened in China 30 years ago, the same attitude. I asked when I can pick up my order, he said no clue. The internet order is their lowest priority. They had to take care of the store customers. He did not event give a day, just said wait for an e-mail. It's the worst experience in 16 years living in US.

Other Comments:
It seems to me there is BIG interest conflict in between the local shop and the internet order department. And the worst thing is, they put their own problem on the customer. The shop employee refuse to help and rude to the internet customer. I couldn’t imagine how a business could survive with this attitude. I don’t want to have any business with this store anymore and I will say good luck to their customer.
