Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Big Wheel Bikes

The original Big Wheel Bikes is on 33rd St., just below M. St. in historic Georgetown. The store with the big bike on the yellow wall is one block from the C & O Canal, Washington's first and most scenic bike path. There's free parking just behind the store.

Shop Summary:
Cute shop located a block from the C&O Canal towpath right in downtown Georgetown.

Customer Service:
This is a small bike shop that is big on service. Despite the seemingly small selection of bikes the turnaround on repairs is quick. The shop is generally staffed by only one person but unlike most of the other shops in the area they will be more than happy to allow you to use their tools and space to do any basic repairs on your bike (this is a huge plus for riders who know the mechanics but lack the money and/or tools to do some repairs). The shop is happy to special order anything they may not have in stock and make sure that each customer is happy. The rentals are a huge plus at this location as well due to the fact that the shop is right off of the towpath and with rentals going for $21 for 3 hours then you can get some serious riding done in a cool environment in seconds. This place is really a great shop when compared to some of the other bike stores located in Georgetown
