John's Cyclery

John’s is the perfect bike shop.

The service is the best ever, the employs take pride in there work.
If you have any questions they will take the time to help you.
I’ve bought 4 bikes there ranging from a $99.00 Trek Majestic
To a special order Gunnar Rockhound and they offer the same service.
The owner Rich is full of knowledge and is truly passionate about putting people on quality bikes.
There is no over pricing or pressure to buy or up-grade they want you return business.
The customer is the best hand down.
When you are in the market stop and check them out.

Shop Summary:
I have been a cycling enthusiast for 25 years. My parents bought my first bike, a Schwinn Predator(BMX), from John's Cyclery. Several years later I returned to buy the first bike for myself, a Schwinn Prelude(Road).
My senior year of high school a friend and I considered trying to ride bicycles across America. We visited several bike shops that discouraged us "amateurs" from attempting such a feat. Then we went to talk to Rich Harper at John's Cyclery. Rich assured us that with the proper gear and a little tenacity we could achieve our goal. He ought to know, because he had ridden his bike coast to coast before taking ownership of John,s Cyclery.
Rich helped us get the necessary gear on our very limited budget and gave us much advise in preparation for the trip. And what a trip it was. We rode 2100 miles from our home in WV to WA state. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I cant help but think we may have not attempted it without the encouragement we received at John,s Cyclery.
I have since bought many bikes from John's: Schwinn High Sierra(first Mt.Bike), Schwinn High Plains(Mt.Bike), Schwinn Paramount(Road), Schwinn Paramount(Mt.Bike), Waterford(Road), Redline(Cyclocross),Trek 9800(Mt.Bike),Trek 7000(Mt bike for my wife)
The bikes I am buying these days are mostly for my two sons. Each time I have purchased a bike from John's they have been very helpful. There is never any pressure to "up-sale" to a more expensive model. However it is the customer service after the sale that makes this bike shop the wonderful experience that it is. Rich has made his business a success by earning repeat customers like myself.
