Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Wamsley Cycles
Wamsley Cycles, started in the mid-seventies as a custom framebuilding operation, making frames to fit the individual as a tailor sews a suit. The owner, Chip Wamsley, learned his craft in England from Jack Taylor, one of the world's most respected frame builders. Jack, like most Englishmen, accepted no compromises in design or quality and would only build "proper" (correct) bicycles. This philosophy remains the cornerstone of Wamsley's business today. Their reputation within the industry is so good that they have been chosen four times as one of the top 100 bicycle shops in America. The bottom line is that everyone on staff loves bicycling and wants to share this with their customers.
The selection of bicycles is amazing, with everything from children's bikes priced at a little over $100 to mountain bikes for recreation at $250 to state-of-the-art full-suspension ATBs costing $1000 and up. These bicycles come in different frame sizes and are fitted to the customer to achieve optimal comfort and performance. Special needs bikes and trikes are also available to help people with some physical limitations enjoy the sport. The years of experience in building custom frames helps Wamsley's make these needed modifications.
Shop Summary: Bought my first bike here. It's located right on the Mon River Trail, so no parking lot test rides. Always three or four mechanics/salesmen on hand, so you never feel like you have to wait or are inconveniencing somebody. Extremely friendly and patient. Even though it's 30 miles from my house it's my LBS. Can't believe this shop hasn't been reviewed until now.
Customer Service: Staff is amazing. Still taking excellent care of me and my bike. Walked me through basic things like keeping the chain lubed and changing a tube. I've never had to wait for a repair. One of the guys even put down his lunch to help me out.
