Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Small, cozy shop in downtown Viroqua offering a full line of Kona, Marin Townie-Electra and Surly bikes along with all the clothing, gadgets and goodies. Rumor has it they will soon be offering custom frames hand crafted right from the shop. Customer Service: Outstanding customer service. Very knowledgable staff. Pete will happily either fix your bike or teach you how to do it yourself. Will gladly fill you in on the local mountain bike scene including recommended routes and trail conditions. Other Comments: Small shop that has made a huge local impact. Very active in local trail building and advocacy. Pete and Alycann have gone above and beyond to promote bicyling in the community

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Bluedog Cycles is a cozy, small town shop with a nice selection of bikes, components, clothing and accessories for the whole family. They have stuff for road and dirt. Maintenance classes are available, and they have a deal where you can rent the use of a stand and tools to do your own overhauls. This is a great option for the rider who wants to do the work but can't (or doesn't want to) afford the special tools. Customer Service: The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to help you figure out what you need and then make sure that everything is properly fitted to you before you leave. I have rarely needed to take anything back, but they have been good about returns/exchanges. Other Comments: Bluedog is the center of all cycling activity in town. Everybody hangs out there. Every group road ride that I have been on in the past two years has started from the shop. Trail rides and trail maintenance days have folks meeting at the shop and carpooling to the trail head.
