Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: 07/31/2009
Do not rent equipment from these guys . We Picked up two mtb's from the Edge Sports Shop in Jackson Hole , WY the night before so we could start out early the next morning . The Bikes were in terrible shape.The more I thought about the bad condition that the bikes were in the more I wanted them fixed . We arrived 20 mins before 9 am. One guy shows up . Nice guy. He says that as soon as he gets some bikes and things cleared out he would take care of us . We said ,Ok great ! We tried to stay out of their way as they moved the rental bikes outside . Just before that another guy showed up with a very bad attitude and visibly pissed off that a customer was in the store ten minutes before actual opening time. He told my friend to wait outside till 9 o'clock . I realized something was wrong when the scrubby looking owner started throwing stuff outside in a temper tantrum . I could not believe what was happening . By the look on my friends face I knew what was going to have to happen . He said lets get out of here right now . I approached the nice guy and told him that the other guy is obviously pissed at us for some stupid reason . We are turning the bikes in because of his bad attitude . We both fly a 20 million dollar charter Jet and have a fair amount of paying customers that fly with us . If we pitched a fit in front of our customers like this dude did we'd probably be flying around by ourselves . Whats funny about the whole deal was that my Buddy was seriously considering buying the Cannondale Rise they had on sale for $.1900 . We walked up to Fitzgerald Bikes where they took great care of us . Save your time , money , and blood pressure and stay away from the EDGE . Customer Service: Okay until the grumpy scrounge showed up. Other Comments: Rented bike from this establishment in 2007 and the service was great.Don't know what has happened since.I know these guys are knowledgeable bikes and skis . And we are just stupid customers that pay them money for stuff.
