Shop Summary:
I do most of my own work and am very picky about who works on my bike when I don't have time. The work they have done on my bike has been consistently excellent. They are vastly superior to River City in every way in shop work.

Customer Service:
Even when they get busy they make sure to get to you as quickly as they can. They are focused on giving good service, especially compared to other shops in PDX.

Shop Summary:
FTF is very involved in the Portland MTB scene. They organize group rides and bike porn movie nights so you have to appreciate them for that.

They are also one of the few shops in town where you can buy high end bikes and the ONLY one to rent a decent MTB.

My only complaint about FTF is that the service department is complete crap.

Customer Service:
Most everyone is friendly, Tim is especially knowledgable and a great guy.

Other Comments:
I wish they could get their service department up to snuff. Everything I have had done there has taken 3x as long as it should, cost 4x as much as it should, and often isn't even done right.

Good shop for the community. Learn to wrench on your own steed if you plan on using them though.
