Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Small clean shop. Properly organized equipments. Some pretty high end stuff in there and some midrange bikes as well. Prices are visible and seems better as compared to other stores around the chicago area. Their website is somewhat informative too. Customer Service: Very friendly, patient and informative. I did not feel pressured to buy their products. I was seeking to buy my 1st real mtn bike, so as such I had a zillion questions. The sales person Ed was kind, courteous, and seemed to be really enthused to help. I havent bought from their store yet because I like reading reviews on products I buy and comparing prices online 1st. So far in my research they have good prices. I will most likely go with their store and recommend this place to my friends. Lets see if they are still helpful on my next visit. In the meantime, these people know the meaning of customer service

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I have never been to the bricks & mortar store. I have spent a fair bit of time on their website, and found it straightforward and user friendly. Customer Service: My husband bought an Ellsworth Epiphany from Rbikes last year and couldn't have had a smoother experience, so that's where I went to shop for my custom pink Truth this year. The customer service continues to be great, taking away all of my hesitation about using an on-line retailer for such a big purchase.
Throughout the entire process of buying the bike, from frame to build kit, the clear commitment to both short and long term customer service was evident in the timely and personalized communications I received from Toni. She was incredibly responsive to my every question and concern, and kept me up-to-date on the progess of my bike. Other Comments: When I got the bike, though, there was a problem with the brakes. That's when Rbikes customer service really shined. I can't say enough about how great Toni and Mike Richard, himself, were to work with. Without hesitation, they worked with me and the local bike shop of my choice (Reed Cycles, Eagle, Idaho) to try to fix the brakes. The local bike shop didn't have the right bleed kit for the initial attempt at repair, so Rbikes actually lent them the kit with a return package label attached! Even the staff at the LBS was impressed. When the repair didn't work, Rbikes had the LBS replace the brakes with new ones as good or better. The whole thing was taken care of in 3 business days.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: R Bikes is a wonderful shop. Not only do they know bikes, but they also are extremely focused on customer satisfaction. They really make you feel appreciated as a customer. They built a Ellsworth Epiphany for me that absolutely is fantastic. They understood every little detail that I had spec'd on the bike, and really cared to make everything right. These guys understand high end bikes!!
Customer Service: In today's environment of cookie cutter Customer Service, R Bikes stands out as a shop that truly understands Customer Service. They always make me feel welcome during a visit to the shop or on a phone call.
