Cottonwood Cyclery

What are we?

We are a bicycle and Skateboard shop, located in the city of Cottonwood Heights, UT.

Who are we?

Cottonwood Cyclery was founded to provide the cycling community of the greater Salt Lake area with a place to call their own.

We don't focus on bikes we focus on our customers and their needs, essentially we are building the store around you and your needs.

We are racers & recreationalists beginners and enthusiasts.

We can remember back to when we started, we have enjoyed racing, long epic rides or just following our child around the block on their first rides.

We understand that not everybody can afford or wants a $5000.00 bike but are happy and excited to accommodate those who do.

We love what we do and we love the people that we do it with.

We have partaken in almost every aspect of the sport, from BMX Racing, to the local crit series to commuting & touring.

We have never been very good at any of them but we were having fun, and isn't that what it's really all about?

Shop Summary:
This bicycle shop is finally an answer to my quest to find a great bicycle shop. I have used quite a few shops and this one is the best for top quality, professional, fast and courteous service. I highly recommend Cottonwood Bicycle Shop to everyone. The have what you need at a great price. The have helped me out with emergency repairs before races and exceeded my expectations with the high quality work. I glad I finally have a place to buy what I need and get repairs and tune-ups done and know I can trust who I am working with. Pricing, Quality, Professional, Fast, Efficient, Supplies, and everything is with a friendly employee that is concerned about your needs and helping you with your biking goals.
AWESOME SHOP...

Customer Service:
The customer service exceeds every where I have been. It is a "dream come true" to find a shop that can meet my demanding needs and be so friendly and helpful. The quality of work exceeds all other shops I have used in the past as well.

Other Comments:
To get the best customer service, top quality technical service, best pricing in town, and find the supplies you need - then go to COTTONWOOD BICYCLE SHOP. You will be glad you did...

Shop Summary:
It is so great to finally have a bike shop in this neighborhood. I have not needed a bike shop much lately since my bikes are in pretty good shape but the one time I needed help with my bike computer, these guys fixed it so quick. They were very helpful and they even let me take my dog inside since it was so hot out. I will definitely go here whenever I have any bike issues or need any bike accessories.
Thanks!

Shop Summary:
Very competent shop with all the right tools. Alan, owner, seems to be there all the time, so you can trust the work to be thourough. I needed air in my shocks but didn't have a pump. I was taken care of immediatley after Alan personally looked up my shock specifications. Thanks Alan! It rides like new again!

Customer Service:
Yeah I forgot to mention he took the 10-15 minutes to pump up my shocks and search the internet for the specs. for free. I tipped him because I really want to keep these guys around. Who wants to drive to the city for some brake pads before a quick ride? Also, they want to stick around, so if you are in once, you will be remembered and taken care of accordingly.

Other Comments:
remember: Local First!

Shop Summary:
My major issue with most bike shops is the lack of flexibility towards fitting people's needs. Some shops are into racing, fixie, mountain, which I have no problem with, but since I'm of the opinion that every able-bodied person should be on a bike, I find it very refreshing that this shop is really making an effort to relate with the whole spectrum of bikers, beginners, po-folk, (such as myself), as well as more experienced folks also.

Customer Service:
I've been riding for the past few years, and have been in quite a few different shops in the Salt Lake Valley, but this is the first shop that seems to have made an effort to relate to the general public as opposed to special interests. They seemed really friendly and helpful. The vibe was good also.

Other Comments:
I want to encourage all shops to be more helpful with people that are interested in getting on a bike. Right now is a great opportunity because people are economically compelled to ride instead of drive. Ride on!
